Charge it fully before first use. Start on SOFT, hold the tip at a shallow angle against the tooth and keep it moving with light pressure — never dig into the gums. The maker says the tip senses tooth surfaces and pauses when it touches soft tissue. A cosmetic at-home tool, not a replacement for professional dental cleanings or check-ups. Why it works
Brushing handles the soft stuff. The hardened build-up along the gumline and between the front teeth is what bristles slide over, and it's what you notice in photos and with your tongue. PearlPik's fine tip vibrates ultrasonically, so a few gentle passes help loosen that visible build-up instead of scraping at it.

Does it hurt?
Most people feel a light buzz and a tickle on the tooth. Start on SOFT, keep the tip moving gently along the tooth rather than pressing, and step up a mode only where you need to. If anything feels sore, stop.
